Moral of the story: Don't be a jerk.
This takes me back to the days of the DOS prompt. Those sound effects are older than me! Very fun little game.
Brother, never put that skeleton ever again, i almost got scared, good experience by the way
Cool, I like it.
i found a door
love the writing and the style and ngl i jumped at that one part iykwim, this also reminds me of David Lynch
I like the aesthetic of black and white dithered pictures. For a longer project, I would have the passages flash once the player mouses over them before I highlight them, but it works fine for a short project like this.
My only critique: I wanted to open the door before I started due to the game's description of "You find a door.", and once the narrator turned away, I thought it was pretty obvious how it was going to end.
I saw the author say it's not intended but being able to type at the end is so cool. Feels like you're calling out to the void with no answer.
yup! “Let me out!”
that's a pretty cool short game:3
so short yet so good
100% did not see that coming. please make more things. oh lord.
Wonderful!
NICE SHORT
Well that knocking sound sent my dog into a barking frenzy. Pretty good story and a way to present it, I enjoyed.
There were some typos: is their really = is there really, you flea = you flee
Oh good catch, will correct! And sorry for your dog…
Also, I think I saw a ‘sudenly’ instead of ‘suddenly’ somewhere.
Good game, man. :)
very cool!
Spooky. Gave me goosebumps.
Somewhat Lynchian. I enjoyed it. The sound design is really well-done for Decker.
That’s a nice collection of photos, and the dithering makes them just a bit more surreal. I particularly like the way you’ve filled some parts with Decker patterns - a creepy door with a sky filled with cute polka-dots behind it just adds to the creepiness.
One minor issue: on the final card, the “END” text isn’t locked, so you can select it and type over it; I assume that’s unintended.
I don't know if it's intended but I like it. You can ominously type a question mark on the end.
It’s not intended but I will leave it like that. Typing a question mark is highly encouraged
super cool! I love the writing and the surreal imagery. nicely done.
very Cortázar, love it
